well, i got a shock when i went to turn my engagement ring around the other day. i was in the car, coming home from my favorite store, wal-mart, all that was there was the prongs. it made me just sick. i dreaded telling john about it, but there was nothing we could do. it was there in the morning, but somewhere during my outing, had fallen out. the ring was my original diamond, john's first credit card purchase, right before he went to boot camp. bailey, banks and biddle, right at our local mall. memories.... then just a week later, now in 2006, he surprised me with a replacement. it looks almost identical!!!

newotherwise, things are status quo. here are a couple grandkids pictures. of course, they are the cutest kids on the planet earth, not pluto, since the poor thing is a non-planet now. i think they should have left pluto alone, after all, it had planet status all those years...
as for the knitting and crocheting, i am still working on the blanket. there are now 2 white strips and part of a pink strip. progress. slow but steady. no actual knitting going on, but several projects in the wings....
