a tale of 2 nativity sets

The first....John sent to us when he was visiting Jerusalem in 1984, stationed on the Eisenhower. Over the years, the pieces have mostly disappeared but the picture shows what it looked like.

The second arrived a week or so ago, from Angela, who was visiting in Jerusalem. Thank you!

So, the stairs here are ours...but they bring to mind another set of stairs from my youth...fondly! I always wondered what was at the top of those stairs that were covered with canned goods and household paraphenalia!


Here is our cast iron steamer for the woodstove. Steam comes out of the chimney!

can't sleep

So, I studied some. Now, I might be able to go to sleep... reading about respiratory conditions is pretty dry! Before I go to bed, thought I would post a few pictures.
