WooHoo!!! It was so hard to choose! I have many more....

So, to the aunt who bb'd my ear over the years...

was mommie-nommie to various pets...

let me play her 45's on the stereo...

and made me drive Polly Polaris while she and the killer dog were in the back seat...

I cannot image all the fun I would have missed if you had not been a part of my life. So, on a serious note, Thank you for being here, there and everywhere (you know the tune, right???)

Ann had a birthday.

Well, I find I have been somewhat delinquent in the Walker side of the birthday postings, so for those of you I have missed recently (and you know who you are) first I apologize profusely and I promise (or threaten!) future recognition. I could use the excuse that I had to beg :-D for the dates...but I won't!

So, Happy birthday, Ann. I started early, but posted late. We here in the frozen state hope you had a warm and fun birthday. I also hope you are breathing better after having to blow out ALL those candles...see, I can say that, I don't have quite as many!

I got back an assignment with a GREAT grade. It was a series of 3 and the first 2 I did fair on, so I worked really hard to do well on the last one. Needless to say, I was pleased. So, after submitting it and while waiting for the grade, I went back to the fairy name generator. My Fairy Name is:

She is a cheerful sprite.

She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.

She is only seen when the first flowers begin to blossom.

She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate green wings like a cicada.

But, I really like mermaids better, so I decided to see if there was a mermaid name generator. Guess what, there was! Go figure, it is the internet after all! So, my mermaid name can be found in more than one nautical environment. I picked 3, my favorite (warm areas) and where I live. So, my mermaid name(s) are:

Tropical—Pearlia (i decided this needed a last name, so I invented my own, Waveshimmer)

Arctic—Aurora Light

Pacific—Emraldia Soulsun

Now, as if that isn't enough...I decided to combine, sort of, the 2. Mermaid and Fairy because I like them both. The final result is...

knitting

Got 2 hats done! I took a fair isle class at the knitting experience and learned to do fair isle. There was enough yarn for 2 hats, slightly different. Lily is wearing my hat.

Most of the rest of my time is spent studying. I just finished Women's Health!!! I signed up for next term, Intrapartum (finally, something I will be knowledgeable in!) and just have to finish up in antepartum, which should be done by the end of March. This is CRAZY!

It is supposed to snow for the next 5 or 6 days. WHY???!!!!

The ground is covered, the roads are slick, it is cold and wet and dreary.

I know, I do live in Maine, after all.

more snow

We are getting 2 storms in a row. Last night and today and then tomorrow night and wednesday. What's a little more on top of what we already had, after all, that was melting....

i guess i should fix my camera's date... when i got the new battery, it reset. i only notice it when i am putting up pictures, not when i am taking them!
